Homemade Baby Shower Favor
Recipes & Ideas

Google

A Homemade Baby Shower Favor is the perfect way to stay within your budget and yet leave guests with warm memories of a great party.

Guests invited to a babyshower don’t expect to be going home with lots of goodies.

Three Great
Homemade Baby Shower Favor Ideas

  • Keep a Polaroid camera on hand at the shower. Click candid shots of the guest with the mother-to-be during the course of the party. Give each guest a photo of herself and the mother-to-be. This item is guaranteed to bring a smile to all your guest’s faces.

  • Bake cookies at home 2-3 days prior to the event. If you are having a theme you can make the cookies in different shapes to represent the theme. Take 5-8 cookies and wrap them with beautiful golden or silver tulle and a lovely pink or blue bow. Give away as Homemade Baby Shower Favors. To make the favor a little more special you can also add a little verse on a tag with each bag of cookies. Note: This is not the right time to learn how to bake.

  • If you are good with a computer then design and print out personalized bookmarks to give away at the party.

Two DIY Recipes For Homemade Baby Shower Favors

    1. A Baby Kiss For You

Materials: 12 spoons, 12 hersheys kisses, 12 pieces of 4” pink or blue ribbon, 12 3” squares of silver tulle.

Method: Put a Hershey’s Kiss in a spoon. Wrap a piece of silver tulle around the kiss and tie with the ribbon. Voila! Your Homemade Baby Shower Favor is ready.

Variations: If you are having a cartoon theme you can use a candy with the cartoon on it. Example: A Winnie the Pooh candy for a Pooh party. OR you could use a Winnie the Pooh printed ribbon. Also, for color theme parties change the color of the tulle and ribbon to match your theme color.

    2. A Box Of Candies

Materials: A small cake or pastry box, craft paper in color of your choice, candies, ribbon.

Method: Open the pastry box and trace it’s outline on the craft paper. Trace as many boxes as you need favors. Cut out the boxes from the craft paper and fold them using the pastry box as a sample. Fill the boxes with candies and tie with a ribbon. Give away as Homemade Baby Shower Favors.

Variations: You can paint designs on the boxes for a theme party or simply buy paper that matches your theme. Instead of candies you can also fill the boxes with candles, soaps or handmade cookies.

As you see, they need not always be expensive. With a little thought, planning and effort you can give away great Homemade Baby Shower Favors that will be loved by everyone!
